Visa Information
For International Attendees
Do You Need a Visa or ESTA?
International visitors to the United States may need either a visa or ESTA authorization depending on their country of citizenship. The United States has two main entry programs:
-
Visa Waiver Program (VWP) / ESTA: Citizens of 40+ participating countries can apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) for conference attendance. This allows stays up to 90 days for business purposes.
-
B-1/B-2 Visitor Visa: Citizens of non-VWP countries must apply for a visitor visa through a U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
Exceptions: Canadian citizens do not need a visa or ESTA for business visits. Mexican citizens may need a visa depending on specific circumstances.
All travelers must present acceptable travel documents at the U.S. border. We strongly suggest that you begin the application process as soon as possible to avoid delays.
It is the sole responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa or ESTA authorization. You can request an invitation letter during the registration process.
